Re: Forged 383 Le2 Setup

Hey, that's the exact same setup I'm aiming for only mine's an M6. Just need about $2k for the top end and fuel system, might be a while. lol When you get that thing tuned and running good, you'll have to post some dyno #'s & ETs. Good luck with the install!

Btw, on top of just about everything else you listed... I was going to go with a 255 Walbro in-tank pump. I guess if that's not good enough, someone will chime in and let us know.

Driving it normally with regular street tires should not be a problem.

Beat on it constantly, and it will eventually break.

Put slicks on it and race it and it will break even faster.

I've never replaced one myself, sorry. I've heard good things about the Walbro 255 pump. When I replace mine it will likely be that one.

The popular choice is 135-FLT1-FPK2 249$ at Thunder Racing

Re: Forged 383 Le2 Setup

I bought the 135-FLT1-FPA from-

http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...vid=4&pcid=166

It's $160 for the pump and the pieces you need to mount that aftermarket pump in the stock bucket assembly in the tank. I felt like I didn't need to spend the extra $90 on the wiring for it.

I did have to grind on the stock bucket a little to get the pump to fit in there, and was kind of aiming in the dark because the manufacturer doesn't put any instructions in the kit. You can email www.racetronix.com and get the installation instructions though.

Re: Forged 383 Le2 Setup

I went with the full PnP kit from Racetronix. Also, what about ARP main studs? The rest looks pretty good, but don't expect that '60E to last forever.
