You just looking for a bulb? There should be a book hanging near the bulbs at most any parts store.

well, when i was driving down the street last night, the fog light burnt out. i guess i was under the impression that you had to replace the whole thing? if it's just a bulb, it's simple and i don't see why everybody in town makes such a big deal out of their trans am fog lights going out. i was thinking that you had to replace the whole thing, and it cost a small fortune...

do you know how to get the bulb out and put the replacement bulb in?

Same thing happened to me last year. If you have an owners manuel the procedure is in there.
Jack car up, get a TACK REMOVER from a hardware store [Home dopot], to remove the plastic self locking push in's that hold the front facia in place uner the fog lights, remove bulbs, get new correct size from auto store, appox. $6. each.

DON'T try to get it from a dealer. They'll try to sell you on the "We only sell the whole assembly, not just the light" excuse. It's a PITA the first time, much easier the next time.

that sucks. so i have to mess with that whole plastic flap underneath the car? i have a bra on my car, i'm assuming that the thing you were talking about is the same thing that the straps connect to. then if you reach your hand up there... i guess you can get to the bulb from the back? this sucks... anybody got a how-to or better yet, a diagram lol

Yeah, that's the flap. And actually, you have to unbolt the entire foglight assembly and take it out to remove the bulb.

Yeah you have to unbolt the light. you'll never be able to twist it off at the angle it's at. It's not that big a deal, should only take about 5 mins to do once you pull the plastic pins out.

I got my bulbs at wal-mart, they were GE bulbs and they work very well.

I just changed mine out on the Camaro for the first time. It was no picnic. Why GM set it up that way is beyond me. You have to be a freakin' contortionist.

I just had someone hold down the underguard thingie you have to un-fasten to get to them. It was pretty easy..I see I am alone here.

Maybe GM made it hard to get to because they didn't want people stealing them. About 6 years ago when I was a senior in high school fog lights were all the rage and people were putting them on their cars (I guess like the light bar was the thing to have on a truck in the 80's)... Needless to say some people had their foglights ripped off their cars in the parking lot...

lol that's ****ed up... no we must all suffer because of a few *******s...

it's like that time in class... you know, the one where you had the really, REALLY ancient teacher with the 4 inch thick glasses and somebody stole them... but no one would fess up to the crime? and, then the teacher says... "because of one person, now everyone has to suffer..."

****ty, but that's what that reminded me of...
