flywheel????

Is it possible that a warpped clutch disk, warpped flywheel or bad pressure plate would cause a vibration in the car under high rpm pulls and slow high rpms pulls??ALso could the same things cause a vibration at about 2200 rpms free reving (car stopped), same if the clutch is disengauged and engauged.
The vibration is not like a miss, more little a drive shaft being unbalanced.

Re: flywheel????

Did you recently have the trans out? If so, did this start happening right after you put it back in? It's possible that it's one of the things you stated, or an improperly balanced flywheel. I would also check the pilot bearing on the back of the crank. If you damaged it at all when putting the trans back in, the car will have a vibration not only under load, but free revving it also. I had a very similar problem and I thought it was the flywheel. It ended up being the pilot bearing. Replaced it and the vibration was gone. Good luck!
