FLP headers - Rattle?

Please read carefully.

With the ORPs removed and the headers bolted to the head, I get a metallic rattle sound when I hit them with the palm of my hand (or dead blow hammer). I've pulled the 02 sensors and checked the EGR and AIR connections, none of those are the source.

I've also removed any head sheilds that seemed close.

Sound like a broken weld? Both headers do it.

Check the collectors where all the primaries come together (on the outside), I found a bolt that the shop apparently dropped in there and was rattling around. Just an idea...

Thanks for the reply.

I don't think I'm that fortunate though.

One of mine does that too =(

FLP isn't all the quality they're made out to be.
