If you want a different sound go with the Spintech-loud at idle, reasonable at cruise with no resonance, wicked at WOT.I had many compliments on the sound(the 306 didn't hurt) I was getting coffee one morning, left car running-came out-guy in pickup says"Car looks good, but you need a tune-up"

I have the 4" Mufflex with the FlowMaster and its LOUD. With the single outlet turning down under the hatch area, it has a huge resonance inside the car at 2,500rpm.... you can feel it in your chest. I've ridden in a 97 SS (belongs to Denny, the owner of Mufflex) with the SpinTech, and it was a much more mellow, but still throaty sound - just a lot more civilized. Denny claims he's tried both on the same car and couldn't find any performance difference, based on actual 1/4-mile passes.
