Flooded?
Flooded?
Is it possible to flood an Lt1?? I figured the computer wouldn't allow it. Car fired and ran for about 30 secs I shut it down and then it wouldn't start again. This whole cam swap is starting to seem like it was a terible idea. I have no codes being set by the computer, and everything is mechanically fine yet the car still will not run most of the time.
I have redid everything at least once, most things twice, the intake manifold has been off 4 times. I had a blown head gasket after the swap I replaced it, in doing so I found a severly burnt wire and a bent pushrod. After I fixed those things the car fired and idled decently at 800rpm only occasionally jumping. The next day the above happened. I have basically checked everything I can think of and gotten a good reading from it. Yet still the car refuses to run. I must be missing something. Fuel ok, Spark ok, cam timing ok, rockers adjusted properly(several times just to be sure).
93's run under a batch fire set-up, meaning that a whole bank is fired simultaneously. There is no particular order to each injector, just as long as you have them on the right side. Left and Right bank.
Are you tuned, I ask because my car will not even cough with the stock chip. I run an xe230/236 cam on a 93 T/A.
