Talking Flames??

Just saw a video with a 98+ TA shooting blue flames out the exhaust. Any one know how to do this?? It looks awesome. I want to be able to shoot flames on command out my exhaust without damaging my car.

any ideas?

Talking i know!

get a 1995 N/A automatic eclipse.. place large spoilevers everywhere possible.. custom gutter body kit, a plether of neons and strobes, a large chrome muffler, and youll be set.. it will do it automatically!!

lol j/k..

you have to set up an ignition coil and spark plug in your exhaust pipe near the exit.. and tune your car rich! hehe, theres probably alot of stuff you can find on google about it.. i wouldnt do it!

As already mentioned above, you have to tune the car to run VERY rich and install a spark plug in the tailpipe. You'll also need to get rid of the cat and forget about the oxygen sensors. Bad idea on our cars.

There are flamethrougher kits you can get and not have to mess with your tuning. Do a search on the web.

Or just have no emisions controls and run rich enough to backfire out the exhaust pipes.

RICE ROCKET!?!?!?!?!

for flames???

Uhm.. the flames CAME FROM THE AMERICAN customizers... they've been doing it to street rod's since the 60's... Merc, Buicks, Fords, Chevy's etc...

And you have to have No Cats on your car.. and either get one of the kits from online.. or build yourself a custom kit... like I have.. but I don't have installed yet.. been chasing a vibration problem all year...

Hehehehehe... that's the one thing I liked about those things... my car sounded like a tugboat at idle, but when you gave it some serious gas under load you'd get a nice little light show that was waaaay cooler than any under-body neons could provide

WARNING: Aside from this, Purple Hornies are ghetto and should not be used without a mullet.
