you pump that much fuel and few things can happen.....

first,you foul the plugs

second you melt the cats from the fuel sitting in em and they overheat.

third,you fuel wash the rings and risk wasting the engine.

not to mention the melting plastic bumper cover,trying to actually use a fogger nozzle to shoot a "stream" of flames will be disatrous,the flamethrower cars use propane and have the whole shebang extended 8-12" past the rear bumper.

 

I dont even understand why you'd want to do this. I only see cons and no pros. I personally dont think it looks that cool. You risk ruining your paint. You risk blowing up. You risk getting a ticket. There will be a day where you want to show off to some hot blonde on the street, you do the flame thingy, the girl says "OOOOO, AHHHH", meanwhile the guy driving behind you who's bumper you lit on fire tears you out of your car and beats the living sh*t out of you.

....it just doesnt seem worth it.

I have a flame kit on my car that I MADE and it works like a ****!! but dude DON'T buy that GHEY A$$ kit it's a waste of money and doesn't work well... just make your own it's sooo simple when you know what your doing...

then your flames will look like MINE

and to all the haters... don't get all butt hurt just cause you don't have it on your car... i've never had one person say it was ghey when they saw me do it.. all i ever heard was "HOW CAN I DO THAT TO MY CAR"

 

well here is what has happened so far.

I have bought the kit for $70, if i can't use it on the maro safetly I'll use it on something else or sell it. I've seen the seller use it on his stang in person and it works great but he has NO CATS.

The reason I want to get it is for show, and i want like 3 feet flames, nothing outrageous. And I'm not going to be a moron and drive around the streets flaming up the town and trying to burn up other cars, lol.

InjectedSS, please give me the details on how you did the system, and do you have cats?? And, how is the rear bumper condition???

I posted that to show a picture of a burned f-body, not to make him think that it happened because of a flame-throwing exhaust gone wrong. No need to call me an "idiot" because I posted a picture of another car. I never said it happened because of a flaming exhaust; I just used it to pass a point across. Get over it.

well either way a flame thrower kit WILL NOT make your car catch on fire IF set up RIGHT! just like anything else, if you don't set up a LOT of thing's you could damage, break, or even catch your car on fire.. that's just circumstantial to just say that a flame thrower kit could do it!

oh well sorry for calling you an idiot, but that was just a dumb thing to say IMO
