fixed miss on LE2 cammed 355...

last time i hit the track i ran a 13.4@109 2.2 60ft on street tires with a miss under 2k, leaving the line like a snail and then nailing it at the top of 2nd gear, shifting at 5700 rpm. well i've had the car parked since that day cuz my tranny wouldnt go into 3rd gear, i was checking the car earlier today and the #5 plug was so loose a F***ing loose, and it seemed that the exhaust leak i had was because of that damn plug. well anyways i got the damn thing back in and now the car idles real smooth and even stays on by itself without having to hold the throttle. the exhaust note is real smooth and the car revs without any problems. anyone think my car can go low 12's@111+mph with some sticky tires and skinnies up front?

how did you cut a 1.9 60ft on street tires? even if your on 315's i think it takes some practice and luck cuz my car just lites em up going 50mph, from a stop its pointless and im cam only. im on some 245/50 potenzas, so that might do it though. i was tracking down a miss since april, and everytime i fix it something another part messes up. right now i think my tranny is next

I went from 76mph 1/8th mile times to 80mph times by tightening #5 plug all the way in. It was about half the threads out of the hole.

MeanGreen97z- what type of LT's do you have? the only thing that was holding the plug in the head was the MSD plug wires that were practically wedged against the primary of the header. also are going to cam the car once you put the heads on or are you gonna wait to put em on along with a cam?

I am running the pacesetters. They went right in and fit well. I'm going ported heads with 1.7 RRs on the stock cam. Then about a 125hp shot of juice for the time being.

Oh yeah, and 32psi in the rear tires, so it's very possiable to get a 1.9 60' on street tires when your car is "heavy" modded.
