First post in a while... very weak spark. Ignition experts needed.

With the recent bout of good weather I have been freshening my T/A up. It has always had a problem that I figured had to do with the valvetrain but now I'm more convinced that it is a spark problem. Last weekend when I drove the car, it had its usual hesitations, sluggishness, and random miss while cruising, but it would phase in and out of this state where the spark was so weak that the instant my boost gauge went just a sliver past 0 the car would miss really hard. I thought to myself immediately that the spark had to have been blown out. It also occasionally throws an EST open code 41. The EST is the white wire that is on the original ICM harness. I have no idea why it randomly sets it and then if I clear it it's back to normal. But it only throws it once in a blue moon but it did it last weekend when the car had those major misses.

I have not been on here in a while so I will check my sig, but the car has a brand new opti from one of those guys Dal or Cromer or something like that. I think it was Dal actually. The car has MSD plug wires I cut to fit. The wires have been checked and rechecked and it's not the first time I've made plug wires, there is nothing wrong with them. It also has Autolite 104's gapped at about 0.032". And lastly, the car has a Delteq ignition, but these issues were around before the Delteq. I checked all of the wiring, cleaned every connector, and I traced the EST wire all the way to the ECU while I shook the harness around and the signal was perfect. The coil pack had 10kohm and the optibox had 1kohm on that circuit. I mean literally everything I could think to check has checked out.

Anybody who has seen something I overlooked or wants to add comments, please do. If you think that this is a mechanical problem or something other than the igntion, please tell me. I want this car to be back to it's former glory so badly... I have never really had a chance to drive it for more than 3 or 4 weeks during the 3 years or so that it's been heavily modified when it's been running perfectly.
