First Drive after Upgrades

I'll start with what I've done since March:

cc503
New OEM Lifters
cc 7808 Push rods
Heads Ported with 2.00/1.57 SS valves and .600 springs
Ported and Powder Coated(Red) Intake
Lt1/Lt4 Extreme Duty Timing Set
52mm BBK TB
30# SVO(Started it with the 24# Have not installed the 30# yet!!!)
Poly Motor Mounts
" " Tran's Mount
New Maddog clutch disk(fried the first one, didn't turn the flywheel)
UMI LCA's
" " LCA relocation brackets,Bolt in
" " 2 point SFC, Bolt in
" " Adj. Torque Arm
" " Adj. Pan hard rod
" " STB
Eibach Pro Kit

I started it Monday night without a problem, so I decided to take it for a drive tonight. It's not tuned YET, IT"S Coming, but it doesn't feel or sound like the same car I have to take it easy for 500 Miles for the new clutch so I couldn't really stand on it but what a power difference!!!!

I would like to THANK all the people that I bought Parts from and the advice I received from you guys. I'm HOPING for 380 RWHP?? but I'm not sure I'll have to wait for the Dyno in a Month(I'm Broke!!!!)

The one thing I did learn is: It was a lot of work!!!!! But WELL Worth it.

I bet it feels like a whole new car.

Dare I ask how much all of that set you back?

I tried "NOT" to keep track but I figure about 3K give or take, I started collecting the parts last fall, and did everything, except the heads myself

So are you trying to blow it up??

30lbs injectors without a tune is a good way to start on that goal. First you will take out the ring seal, the the bearings, if you push hard enough you might even be able to destroy a rod is you wail on it after the bearings start to go.

I left the 24# in it for startup. I Asked in another post about it and was told to leave the stock ones in until it was tuned. I will install the 30# in it when i get the tune back. Thanks for the concern thought.

I'm glad to hear you left the stock injectors in. When I first saw your mods list I had the same reaction as Dwayne. You should consider buying a spare PCM so you can send it back and forth to your tuner w/o taking he car out of service.

It sounds like everything went together well and is working properly. Good job!
