Unhappy Fireworks under Hood

The other Night I noticed there was arching on the ignition coil and two plug wires seemed to be arching. Replaced all plug wires with delco wires today, and it seems like my problem is worse, there are fireworks under my hood! I'm seeing spark everywhere. I have no clue where to start. Any answers or suggestions on how to fix my problem would be very appreciated.

Did you use dielectric grease around the plugs & opti connections?

Question Dielectric Grease

I used dielectric grease on all of the plug wires, the boots, but not the boots on the opti.

Be sure your coil and the ground wires attached to it are clean and tight.

Unhappy Coil Ground wires

The second time i changed my coil, the braided copper ground wire broke at the connector, I tried fixing it by putting a regular connector on it, but it is not copper like the original one. Do you think this could be the problem?

shorting of plug wires can cause the coil to fail, but you will not see sparks

Cool No More Arching, I Think

I was running the car without a muffler for about a month, put muffler on yesterday, and car seems to be running a lot better. But now my problem is the exhaust pipe is sitting on the cross member, and causing the car to vibrate when driving. Does anybody know how I can fix this?
