Hope to have some numbers and times real soon. Still have to get the gauges in and finish some wiring and safety things for the track.

Some serious go fast parts there. How much nitrous are you looking to use, once the car is sorted out?

Sounds like needs a bit of work with tip in throttle response but thats pretty good for out of the box.

Is that a 3 circuit dominator or an 8082 2 circuit.

3 circuit out of the 8896-3. I haven't messed with the mixture screws or tried fine tuning the idle screws. After I get the wideband hooked up I hope to get it all sorted out. Plus I will have to play with the air bleeds.

Whats your thought of the 3 circuits? It seems most don't like them.

As much as it will take. The bottom end is solid and should handle 350-400. It just depends what the motor makes and I will give it 50-60% of the N/A #'s

Def. needs some carb tuning but I can't wait to see what it does.

Wish you the best, it sounds good.

I hope have less problems than I have this year( most of them my own fault).

Easy on the gas......I got a feeling its going to be faster than what you think when its tuned in etc.

I hate em. But they do make more power out of the box than the 8082 on average.

You can convert yours to 2 circuit operation with different blocks or some machine work to your current ones.

Imo the 3 circuit stuff is hard on plugs, but when you consider what it was originally designed for. Old 300" or so small blocks with very high rpm levels it makes a bit of sense. It will sound like its running under water and be fat as crap in the pits

Probably be perfectly fine if its a race only car. I just dont like the way they drive and cruise in the pits etc.

If its anything like other "modern" carbs its going to be really fat down low and lean out as the revs go up. Probably will not respond to jetting changes up high, to the point you can even leave the jets out.

Even the 2 circuit dominator needs transfer slot jets if you plan to cruise around much.

One of the more important things is that you balance airflow and fuel flow on primary and secondary and get the fuel adjustments set up evenly on all corners at idle.

Go check out the threads on the innovate forum, decide for yourself if mods are something you need after that.

I've been on innovate forum I just wish I was there before I got the carb but what is funny is over on moparts they seem to like the 3 circuit more. This is my first carb in about 8 years so I'll have to see what I can get it to do.

Well, every hot rod i ever see that isnt a dominator equipped ride has a 2 circuit holley 4150 on it and that has worked fine for cruising for 40 years.

Yet the dominator has a reputation for being unstreetable with most. Think its that 3rd circuit that makes it cruise at 12:1 a/f?

Just took it for a ride open headers and slicks. All I can say is that I'm impressed so far. Part throttle may have some carb issues but it goes right up against the brake without any hickups. Wide open throttle and it was killing the tires from a roll. The converter is tight. Almost too tight but it will hold the hits I have planned for it. It would only go to 3500 wide open on the brake.

Time to start getting ready for the track and dyno. I need to order some extra plugs, a jet kit and some air bleeds.
