Firebird owners with K&N FIPK
The FIPK should come with instructions for the installation of this.
Basically you need to remove the old airbox and air intake tubing up to the MAF. For a firebird, I believe you need to relocate the headlight control module to the location right by the wheel well. Then you just attach the new pieces. To put the filter on, you'll need to remove 2 plastic moldings from the bottom of the car and go at it from underneath. Part of the air dam needs to come loose, and also the plastic piece directly under where the tube lines up on the engine bay. Then you just attach that filter from the bottom (should take some finesse) and patch it back up. I don't have pictures from this install on my car, unfortunately, but I know many do. Try a search on CAI install or something, that might help!
Hope this helped!
