Re: Finished project Pics "Victor E" set-up

Update:

For those who have not seen the other post.

We dynoed 490 rwhp with stock PCM up to 7250 rpms. Horsepower had an upward curve and the stock PCM cut the injectors off. No matter how high we set the rev limiter...the stock pcm still cuts off at 7250. So......I will be getting a FAST system and then rev engine to about 8000 rpms were it will make the real power!!! I will keep yall posted when I get the FAST system. We should see 550-600 rwhp n/a and around 900 rwhp with nitrous.

Well most single planes peak TQ in the 4500-6000rpm range. Most times on a SBC it's 5000rpm. Considering that they make a ton more TQ the estimation that they need RPM to make power is innaccurate. They can be used at higher RPM but they work extremely well at the RPM levels that we use them for.

SStrokerAce or fast 93 z might be able to answer this question. I have a PTK turbo kit on my car and was kicking around the idea of single plain intake for it, But all I see is natraully asp. cars running this set up. Would you think there might be any benifits swappinga ported lt4 intake when it comes to FI. any info would be great. Sorry about kinda Hijacking the thread.

I bet at least 8 out of every 10 force fed Rustang race cars I've seen is running this setup. Seems to work well for them.
