Finished LE2 Install, Couple of ?s

I finished my LE2 Build. I had just enought time to start it up before I went to work. Car is running good, sounds great. There is some smoke from what looks like it's comeing out from each side of the Headers. I had painted the headers with High Temperature paint. Is it normal for it to smoke after the instal. How long should that take to burn off? The only other problem I noticed was my oil pressure guage was pegged all the way to the right.

it is normal for the paint to burn off - it shouldnt take to long to stop smoking, but you should check oil pressure with a mechanical gauge to be safe before running any longer - could be a bad sending unit, shorted or broken wires

I forget to plug the oil pressure sensor in. I went out thismorning, I cant find the sensor where it comes off of the harness. I hope that paint burns off quick. I ran it for about 5 minutes thismorning and the service engine light came on. I will hook up the laptop and see what codes show up.

the sensor is located behind the intake manifold on the drivers side.

once you get that worked out let it run and come up to temp and the paint should burn off
