Finding Valvetrain Geometry?

is there any formula/calculator on the web to find valvetrain geometry with valves, pushrods, and all that good stuff?

Just curious ... what values are you looking for, and what values are known?

i'm pretty sure i'll be taking a lot off my heads...
thats all thats cetrain for now...

shorter pushrods and stuff like that...
i just dont want to buy that pushrod measureing thing, wait for it to get here, then order pushrods again-

how much to mill intake and stuff like that-

justa "general" question as it stands now

That's what I thought. I'd really be surprised if anyone has simplified it into an equation. Soooooo many variables.

I'm in the same boat with my intake right now. I've got a thread about it, so I'm not going to hijack this one...

Basically I'm decking the block .030, and taking ~.006 off the heads to clean them up.

I may mill the intake, or, the other option is to open up the top of the intake plenum on the heads to get it straight, and if I'm feelin froggy epoxy onteh bottom.

/me needs a valvetrain too

yeah, i'm really lost on this one-

heres a question though thats REALLY hurting me-

how do you find propper valve length? pushrods is a lot easier with that "measuring pushrod" they have out now

I would suspect using your stock springs, you'd use shims? Or, just tell the guy on the phone what you've done and what you need
