Finding oil round base of Throttle body

I have recently notices that every time I drive my 93Z there seems to be oil appearing between the throttle body and intake. It also looks as if oil is also coming out of the plate on top of the throttle body. Is this due to the PCV valve? I looked in the traditional spot for the PCV valve but all is there is a hollow tube running to the throttle body. Does any one know where the PCV valve is on a 93z. The car has 75k on it now and I know I have never replaced it.
Thanks for any info.

The 93's are "oddballs".... but assuming they are similar to the later models as far as PCV valve, the valve is located on the drivers side of the intake in a rubber grommet pretty much in the middle. On many of the older models (depending on the specific "emissions" versions) there is a u-shaped tube that goes from the PCV valve directly back into the intake.

The line from the valve cover to the throttle body is intended to flow clean air from in front of the throttle blades, through the top of the TB, down the hose and into the valve cover, where this air is uplled to the other side of the engine by the PCV valve.

It seems like a lot of cars get small amounts of oil in the top of the TB. If you get a lot of oil, there is a possibility the PCV valve is plugged up, or your rings are bad and you are getting more gas and vapor in the crankcase than the system can handle, and it is backing up through the TB

I will try and replace the PCV valve. It is sorta weird all of a sudden this oil starts to show up. The car has 75k and runs really strong. But you have mw wondering about one of the rings going bad. I do know it doesn’t seem to burn any oil.
