Finally Some Dyno Numbers On The 268xfi Cam!!

A few people pm'ed me about this cam.
I thought I was going to be around 330-340hp.
Man was I off.
Max HP was 370.91 and Max Tq was 384.06 avg looked around 350 for tq.
TQ was REAL flat across the range till the upper end when it got wierd at the end.
The numbers are sae corrected on a Dynojet Dyno.
I was only able to do 1 run because my A/F ration was around 16:1
Time for a dyno tune asap
My scanner is down so I will get the posted graph posted when its up and running.

Very good. Love to see the dyno graph. By the way with that lean of a fuel mixture you will see some horsepower gain with a good tune.

How much porting work was done to those heads? I used a gm847 cam on my 355 setup and put down 381rwhp with no tuning and just a little cleaning done to heads by a friend. Still got 13mpg city (hard driving) and about 27mpg hwy with 4.10's. What are the dimensions of that cam?

Wow! Good goin' Sam. I know I had asked you about it..now you got me wishin' I'd put that cam in my TA. That cam idles pretty good too I bet with that LSA and duration, plenty of vacuum of the brakes too.
I'd like to see what it does once you get it tuned and a couple of pulls to see the curve and how it looks down low compared to this LPE 211/219 I have in both the truck and TA now.

I surprise alot of bolt on LS1 guys with it.
Especially when you are side by side and slowly pulling away.

I love showing LS1's what I got. Although, I wish I could build an LS1. Its just so much fun to beat them because you know they already know they can beat you.

My scanner is still down, so I had to use my dig. cam so I could upload it.
Going back on the 30th to get the final tune for my fuel and timing curve.
Here it is:
