Finally its Dyno'd

Figured it was time to get a baseline figure before moving forward. I was told the Dynojet was reading a bit low before testing but.... managed to pull 332 RWHP and 412 RWTQ with my mods.
A few more tweaks with LT1 edit should improve these numbers a little bit more.

That rwhp sounds right on for your mods but how the heck did you pull over 400rwtq with just the hotcam kit and boltons? You don't mention head work so I assume yours are bone stock, any other mods your leaving out? Even with the best ported heads I dont think I've ever heard of a hotcam pulling over 400rwtq.

I was surprised at the torque also. I bought the car used several years ago and assume that the heads are stock, but now I am beginning to wonder.

Did you install the hotcam kit after buying it or did it come with it? I can't beleive a hotcam is making that kind of tq. That hp sounds like a hotcam but that tq is well ported heads big cam kind of tq. Have you ever run the car with this setup, it must come off the line pretty hard with all that tq.

The only way you're going to have that amount of torque is if you had a auto with a converter that high a high torque multiplier or you're running more cubes. No way with a hot cam on a stock bottom end with a manual. Best that you are going to see is around 360.

I'd get your money back for that dyno run.

I got the car with CAI and headers onlyand did everything else myself and no, it hasn't been to the track yet.
We dyno'd 6 f-bodys and one '06 Vette that day on mutiple pulls
with each pull putting up close numbers for each car. None seemed to be out of the ordinary for the mods on these cars and my pull was in between the the cars to be tested. My best pull was the one mentioned with my first being at 330 RWHP and TQ at about 400.

Sounds like a converter spike number. No way on 400+ rwtq.

It sounds like that but he's got an M6. I've seen some really high tq numbers for A4 cars due to the converter but never this high for an M6. Pretty amazing tq for a hotcam if it's correct.

I'm unable to post the dyno run since I'm at work and my home PC was 'wormed' over the weekend and under repair.
Anyone want to host the sheet? I can e-mail a screen print of it...

Nice hp numbers. I have to agree with everyone on those torque numbers.

I might have to pull out my b.s. flag on this one too. LS1's don't even make over 400 tq with a hotcam, headers and tuning. They're all around 360-370 hp & tq with those mods typically.
