Cool Finally have the full exhaust totally complete. Yeah!

Well, I finally got my headers/cat/catback all done. The PCM has been reprogrammed and performance tuned, and everything is all set.

All I can say is WOW. The power and the sound is just incredible.

I'm kind of wondering where I'm at for TQ and HP and will probably dyno sometime soon.

The car pulls much harder all the way to redline. It's running smooth an mean. The sound of the Hooker catback is just flat out awesome. Deep and tuned when given some throttle and quiet cruising and idling.

My weld job took care of my exhaust leak at the collectors. I am leak free. It's nice to lay on the gas and not hear pfft, pfft, pfft...

Overall I can say that I'm extremely pleased with the MAC midlength headers, Hooker catback and performance tune from Ion at www.madz28.com

I've been looking for a good midlength header for a decent price. How are the Mac's as far as quality and ease of install. How about plug access? As for the Hooker, all I hear is how awesome that catback is. I can't wait to get mine on.

The MAC quality was very good. Everything fit great. The only problem I had was a bad weld at the driver's side collector that I had to have welded up.

Other than that, they are great, especially with the Jet-Hot coating.

I got mine directly from Jet-Hot, who coated them. You get the coated headers, coated Y-pipe, bolts, and copper header gaskets for about $560 shipped.

Hey, stereo...

What size are your primaries on the midlengths? Also did they come with the emissions hook-ups?

Why did you need a PCM reprogram?

I had a dual cat system before, with two rear O2 sensors. With the single cat headers that I got, you have to remove the rear O2 sensors. This throws a SES light.

The reprogram took care of that. I also wanted the performance tune, which gets you a few more ponies. Other goodies included with the reprogram included, removed speed limiter, fans turn on at a cooler temp than before, increased redline, knock retard desensitizing.
