My rebuilder finally got in touch with me about my tranny that lost 3rd and 4th. As suspected, the 3-4 clutches are gone, but everything else is good. Since I'm po' right now I'm just having him replace the 1-2 and 3-4 clutches and add a couple of clutches to each pack. He's going to replace the gaskets and little stuff and charge me about $500 parts and labor. I know it's not a great price, and I wish I had the money to do a full performance rebuild, but I just bought a house and I'm saving for Power Tour, so I've got to skimp for now. I am going to go ahead and throw my 3000 Vigi in, though.

FYI- My tranny guy saw no reason to upgrade anything else in the tranny at this point for the level of power I'm making.
