No such thing as a driver mod when you race from a roll. Anyone can punch the gas peddle and change gears. Its not rocket sience.

You guys all know Taner he has the fastest LT1 6 speed period. When his car had close to the same mods as mine except he had Roller Rockers but didn't have tuning or Longtube headers and his car ran 12.7.That 's faster the 13.4 the times LS1 are running.

 

97WRAITH, I can believe it. I also believe that you wouldn't get on here and lie. There could be a ton of variables with it. With your mods, I could see around 300hp plus the 4.10's help at those low speeds. Also, his car could only be in the high 200's and he could of missed a gear somewhere along the way. I know I have raced LS1's and beat them by 2-3 car lengths...if they are not good drivers that is. And I can say I've lost to them as well, mainly due to crappy hook ups. But for shetland killer to come on here and start raining on your parade is just out right rediculous. Like you said...leave the shetland slaying to him and the LS1 slayings to you

 

Just because he ran something doesnt mean you will. He ran 9's in the quarter. Thats alot more that rr's and headers. Dont get mad here kid, just dont lie about beating an LS1. Im not saying your not fast but those cars are not slow by any means. Say he did mishift. If he didnt you wouldnt have pulled him by no more than a car.

Like I just said. I dont doubt his car is fast. But say the guy in the LS1 did mishift. If he didnt he wouldve pulled no more than 1 car on him. PERIOD!!!!

That was the first time Ive seen 2 people spazz out like that on this board...

In any event, I too think it was beleiveable. My buddy has a 89GT with a 4.6 DOHC motor, A4..The combo is pretty stock and he mopped a LS1 SS up...Street and track conditions are A LOTdifferent. Maybe the LT1 was a better driver, Im sure the 4.10's and ET's helped out. Who knows..

I got so much **** when I posted the kill for him on another board. I guess some of us forget the LS1 will never lose. Like we dont have anything better to do than make up BS stories online...

 

Ok dip****. I had 4.10s once. And they dont make that much of a difference from a roll, just off the line. And you raced him from a roll. My car runs better with 3.73s than it did with 4.10s.

Who cares if I was there. I know how those cars run and that is just bull****.

Dude I drive an LT1 too. Im not saying a LT1 cant outrun a LS1, but it takes a good bit of mods to beat one. And with basic bolt ons you arent gonna pull one by 5 cars if he can drive from a roll.

 

Why dont you come on over here and give me some head you ***. Dont get mad because you cant outrun a LS1. Not everyone can. It takes some special people to do that.
