Re: Finally Found the Valve Cover Modification Link

Yes it went perfect. I did NSA promags(7/16th) NSA and it went well except the cuts and extreme pain my hands are in(from taking off those stock f'n rockers/studs) after I had the passenger side done...I had no clue what I had to do to get the valve covers clearanced...so I ran up to my computer(blood dripping from various cuts and my hands and face(somehow it gets everywhere) BLACK with oil/dirt) and found this and it worked perfectly. Thanks again.

I was going to not buy the pro mags due to valve cover problems. I thought I would have to grind. When I do buy my rockers, I think im gonna get the pro mags now!

Re: Finally Found the Valve Cover Modification Link

I hate when these type of links go dead. I can't remember where I saw a link for this last. It's around still I believe.

Re: Finally Found the Valve Cover Modification Link

u just have to cut off the tabs that are on the inside of the valvecover towards the intake side. both VCs need to be done and the valvecover breather u can use some pliers to pinch together about an inch.

very easy good luck

Re: Finally Found the Valve Cover Modification Link

Yeah, we figured it out, it works like a charm.

But we have to pull the intake back off because its leaking oil at the back of the manifold. I guess we didnt put a big enough bead of slicone.

Just make sure when you do this the braces are straight and not rubbing against the rockers.
