filtering alternator noise

OK, guys, the audio forum is sort of ignoring me on this one, so I'll bring it to you. Technically it is an LT1 issue

Alright, the problem is with an XM Radio hookup...

Thanks in advance and sorry mods for hijacking the forum

I had a problem before with alternator whine. Take out the deck and put it back in. The extra RCA's on the back of your deck and other wires may be close to your power wires behind your deck. Try to stay away from those filters until you've tried something else.

yes, I've already tried that.

And as stated above the radio has been taken out of the equation. It is for sure the power source for the XM unit.

Thank you for you reply.
