Filter Mag? Reduced Wear?

Anybody see or heard of this? Very curious whether or not this is some type of "tornado".

One of the hot rod magazines did a review of that product, they seemed to like it, did a test and there were some small particles trapped.

Whether or not it actually helps or not remains to be seen, as the only particles that were trapped by the magnet were fairly small, as the oil filter caught the rest, and the effect of the smaller particles on the engine is negotiable.

But it couldn't hurt. Kind of like synthetic oil, more insurance for your engine. If you've put a lot of money into the bottom end I would get it, it might make it last longer.

Can't hurt but may not help much either. I have a magnetic drain plug and it never has anything on it that I can see.
