FIGHT over IAT relocation......
I was over at http://www.ws6zxr.com, its a pretty good site, exactly like cz28.com, anywayz, some people were talking about the IAT relocation and how much it helps. Anywayz, from everything I've ever read here, alot of the true experts have proof that it does'nt work at all since, the sensor is only used if the MAF is not functioning. However, everyone on this website thinks it sesms to work. So can someone set this story straight for once, wether I'am wrong or not.......someone post up some proof of either way....

We need to De-compile the program in our PCMs. In my case it did appear to work on the previous problem I had.
I replaced a malfunctioning IAT with a new one just yesterday and I dont hear that mid acceleration pinging anymore. The IAT was defenetely off the scale provided by Chiltons so it was bad however If this is so important I would suggest to decompile the programing and look for the workings of the IAT in it.
I dont know how big that program is but it may be fast to find out or time consuming.
One more thing. About IAT relocation. Inside the rubber elbow with the engine running the Temp does not match the Engines temp and even if it did and the IAT would work at all times... I dont see how getting hot air in the combustion chambers and then telling the puter its cold air would help the combustion for power, not only the air density will be lower but the PCm would probably think its denser ... adding more fuel, running reach and making it harder to tune at diff temps but also it may bring the engine closer to detonation. I dont know wich way but certainly not the true air temp going to the engine.
Thats my imput.

Off subject....But I was wondering what the K&N breather behind the CAI is going too? Is it going to the air pump? If so is'nt that the air from the exhaust coming out fo there after it goes through the airpump?
