Fiberglass valve covers YAY or NAY?

I have a buddy who is pretty handy with fiberglass and he was looking for a project... Do you think fiberglass valve covers would be possible and reliable?

I would think that would be pretty damn hard to fab up and make fit properly, but maybe I'm wrong.

As long as I'm thinking, it would seem to me that they would help muffle the rocker noise compared to stock VC's and maybe even aftermarket.

I personally wouldnt bother, but if its for a project, why not?

Doesnt seem too hard, I mean make a mold from stock ones, or whatever ones you want, and hten jsut put hte FG over it and trim it after you pop it off the mold.

Seems easy to me, and that it would cut down noise.
