A few quick seafoam questions

Ok, I'll make this short. I am planning on using seafoam for the first time on my TA this spring, has anyone had any problems using this product? Is there anything I should avoid doing? Secondly, I'm going to try to use seafoam in my '88 sundance winter warrior. Could I hurt anything by seafoaming this beater? Thanks.
