Feather Clutch or Dump It?

What gives the best results feathering the clutch at a certain rpm or dumping it at a certain rpm then hitting the gas right before the nose starts to fall?

I have a 97 Z28 6 speed and i launch at about 1400 RPM's and feather it, if you dump it like that it will hesitate really bad and almost die.

I have drag radials so I can dump it at 3000 rpm and then hit the gas and get a decent launch. Have to go less on street tires.
