I was just curious what the fastest mph in the 1/4 was with untouched heads? Anyone know?

 

Highest I know of is the guy running the Crane 210/224 cam on stock heads. Granted there's a lot of "other" stuff done, but his trap is something like 116 MPH.

 

I was just curious, I have a 396 with stock heads. My afr's are on order, but it will be a while before I get them. I just wanted to drive the car, so I put the stock heads on. It just has a base mail in tune, and is running rich as heck. I pulled I think it was 114.5, I didnt think it was too bad with untouched heads. I cant wait until I get the heads and the spray.

 

By best is in the sig with stock heads and bottom end.

Frank is right there with me, but his car is super light. (thats the 210/224 car mentioned). That car only made 330 something rwhp, but hes got the weight and suspension working bueatifully.

 

As far as I know Frank is probably the fastest on this board with untouched heads. But there are alot of others out there running right with him. As soon as i get my car back from the chassis shop I'm going after him.

 

I didnt thenk that I was doing too bad for the thune that I have. The only suspesion that I have is subframes. I was on bald 555r's bogging out of the whole, then spinning after I left the preped surfaces. The car has 4.10's but that is it. It will be a lot better this summer.
