Who has the fastest bolt-on LT1 on here? What all do you have on your car and what are your times and power numbers??

Does a TC count as a bolt on? Frank W had the record a few years back running low 12's I think.

yeah, usually converters and susp are ok, roller rockers are ok, as long as you dont go deeper into the motor than that. Prorac1

For the M6 guys, I think Jose ran like a 12.5@110 or so.... I ran a 12.8@108, w/ full exhaust and CAI. Stock gears and suspension.

Well.. On DR's too. I think Jordon ran a few 12.7's w/ pretty much the same setup. Hell.. We'd both dial in pretty much the same ET's when we'd bracket race way back when. Never could get any better than low 1.9 60's though.

How strong are the stock rear ends? There are no problems running DR's on the stock components? How much power can it hold??

The only way those cars are going to run that is it was on a heavy diet.......it must have just had a seat in the thing because i don't believe a stock weight LT1 with all the bolt on's would even run 12.5's..........Most people read this stuff and see stars when people post up that they can run 11's with just bolt on's.......unless you count nitrous as a bolt on.....

The stock rears aren't exactly the pieces of junk everyone makes them out to be. But they do last longer when coupled to an A4 - less driveline shock when luanching.

Oh.. And as far as the weight thing goes. The only things removed from Jordon's and my car was the spare/jack. Cars both had full seats and all that. Race weight around 3540#'s ...

I wish my car were still that light! It's a portly 3720 now . That's from adding a 12bolt, rollbar and 17's. Oops.
