Fast idel

Hello , all I helped a friend this weekend install a holey 58 mil throtel body on his 95?/ss .This is a beautiful piece heres the problem after setting the throtel pos senc to factory specs fire it up runs fine but will not go back to idel if burp the throtel a few hundred rpm"s .The throtel is being held open enough to run about 1200-15000 rpm"s turn off the motor and watch the linkage go back to closed pos,this unit was returned last week as we thought somthing was wrong with it .A ase master mech couldnt even figur this out? Now new piece on the car same problem car has a gm hot cam in it shorty headers if that helps any information will be appreciated thanks to all who read this...

Very common problem... this is actually the third report of the very same problem in the last 24 hours. See response in this thread:

Fred ,Thanks a million for the responce I tried to do a searce on this before i ask this question but couldnt navigate this site to well had only been on it for 5-min before i joined site for a friend I will get him to join this site you guys seem to have the knowledge he needs , spelled CAMARO wrong for my sing name for the fun of it also notice LT-5 that the motor Im used to working on..
