in the autotrader there is a 97 ws6 and he said the water pump went bad and it over heated so he put on new gm hi performance heads and a new intake.. i think hes talking about a lt4 head and intake but i dont know if there are fastburn heads for a lt1 that he is talking about...

 

Other way around... the GM fastburn heads were modeled on the LT1/LT4 heads, IIRC. No one in their right mind would go to the trouble and expense of converting fast burn heads (about the same price as LT4 heads) for the reverse coolant flow of the LT1 block.

Shouldn't you be asking the guy selling the car what he did?

 

he said he bought fast burn heads for it... from gm and a intake. but i didnt know they had fastburns for the lt1 i figured he just bought lt4 stuff. dunno...have to look at it..http://www.autotrader.com/findacar/v...or=&cardist=25
