Re: Fans still dont work!

Ok I checked all the relays #1,2,3 and a they all made an audible clicking noise. What else can this be?

The fans also do not come on when I jump the #5 and #6 cables on my OBDII port

I have heard of the A.I.R. pump blowing the fan fuse. Sure you dont want to put a manual fan switch on it?

I dont want to bypass the problem, I want to fix it. Why should I have to put up w/ the extra work of flipping the fan switch when the computer can do it for me. Let alone if I forget to flip the switch my damn car overheats again..

Some people are reporting that in rare instances the computer just forgets how to turn the fans on and it can be fixed w/ a tune. Anyone else here about this glitch?

What makes you think it is the fans? If it over heated sitting in traffic it is most likely your waterpump.

Thats wrong. Overheating in traffic means its your fans. Overheating on the road while moving would be waterpump. I overheated to 250 F and no fans...thats how I know. If you read the topic you would know I already replaced the waterpump anyways....

Does anyone know what there talking about here?
