fan switch help

I have a 96 formula and I used Shoebox's diagram to help me do my manual fan switch. I put in the diodes and resistors but couldn't get it to work. I took out the section of diodes and resistors and it worked, but I got an SES light. What did I do wrong? What needs to be there and what doesn't? I used the diode on each side with two 47ohm resistors on the blue side and one on the green. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Aron

I'm not sure on the diodes. The double is done piggyback just like the picture.

Thanks,
Aron

I did my 96 without the LED's as per Robs giude and had no issuses what so ever (after I installed the resisters right that is). you might wanna chack and make sure that you didnlt place a diode in instead of the resister or vice versa and look and see where the line is on th diode, that line goes closer to the switch, it;s make to allow voltage to only go one way and if it;s backwords it will interfer with the power
