Post Famous 6-speed tranny rattling noise.

i've been to some tranny specialists..talked to a lot of guys at work and it seems that there was a bulletin out on the tranny making this "rattling" type noise at a certain RPM and it was just the design of the tranny itself and it had no negative effect/performance loss whatsoever.. its just an ennoying noise.. my cars got 150,000km's on it.. runnin pretty nicely, shes just broken in! anyways.. has anyone out there had any luck with any custom jobs for this tranny noise... its just horrific and i really want to get rid of it.. there has to be a way! anyone have advice, or is the bulletin right..no fix.

Thats pretty much it. The stock pilot 'bushing' LT1's came with can cause some more noise, I switched to the roller bearing when I did my clutch. The trans is still noisy at times though. Also understand the T56 is a very strong trans that can handle well over 500rwhp/tq in stock form without a problem. If a nice smooth and quiet little trans is what I wanted I'd buy a Honda.
