False low coolant light

I have a 94 z-28, and getting a low coolant light coming on while driving.
It is false because my coolant level is at the correct point when I check on the coolant dipstick.

Is there a sensor in the overflow bottle that could be bad?
Any suggestions appreciated.

Done a search and found my answer, posted from work, with little time.
The search really is a great feature.

The sensor is mounted on the radiator behind the battery. You have to drain the water down to change it.

it will probably just go bad again if you replace it, if you unplug it im pretty sure the light goes out, just keep an eye on your fluids

I think some ppl have had luck cleaning the element and re installing it. Try that before you go out and buy a new one.
