False? knock readings

I am getting knock readings under 2500 rpm in WOT and I have a good feeling they are false. It happens when i run 87 octane, as well as if i run 93. Yet I only have an 8.3:1 C/R so 87 should be more than enough. I had my brother listen in on the block when i was parked and I tapped the gas a few times, and out of 10 times 3 times it detected knock. But my brother listening in on the block heard nothing different, and nothing out of the ordinary. He said it sounded like the engine was running beautifully.
So anyone have any ideas what would be causing my false knock readings?
Or anyone have better ideas as to testing the knock readings?

The only other thing to do is get it scanned, lol... Or you could, ummm.... confuse the computer, and pad the senser with some tissue. Not the smartest thing to do, but a temporary fix.

The computer is not throwing any codes, and I just replaced the sensor, because it was throwing the ks code, and that soved that problem, but Im still reading knock when I shouldnt.

I know... The LT4KM dosen't stop all knock readings, lol... It just supresses them... Adding some sort of padding to the KM will do this even more! Like I said though, it's not the smartest thing to do.

Instead of padding it I think ill just change my knock recovery rate so it recovers faster. I only knock below 2500 when I nail the gas so my only problem when I take it to the track will be in the launch, and if I crank the recovery rate everything should work out.
