Hello everyone I took my car to be smogged and it failed. Yes i live in beautiful California. Ok question is what should i do now. The guy said that the ignition is off, the car is running too rich, and the car is running too hot. I took it to my mechanic and he said it might be my cat.

he also told me to pull the chip out of my car since its aftermarket. I passed smog 2 years ago and im not sure what it is. I just pulled my chip out today and will no longer be using it. also im running my borla without the plate but would that matter? Lemme know what you think. Oh yeah i dont know when the car had a tune up last.

Buy new O2 sensors from Jason Cromer. Then pull out that stage 1 chip.. its about a worthless mod anyway. Last get the car really hot because I dont believe those hi-flow cats are very efficient or not as good as the stock cat is.
