Are you talking about the temp sensor in the waterpump? I am having the same problems and switched opti and temp sensor in the pump and still runs bad.

Also possible that you could find a new connector at your local auto supply.
If you just need the plastic connector (without the pigtails) you can get
them from some electronics suppliers. For example, the green connector
for the MAP sensor is Delphi part No: 12020403-B. I've been getting
them from Mouser Electronics. If you are buying less than 25 of them,
the price is $1.11 (I bought 5 of them). Also, you will need the dis-
assembly tool to get the terminals out of the old connector. You can find
an inexpensive Weather-Pack tool on eBay.

Good Luck!

Wouldn't it have been easier to just buy the entire pigtail?

It all depends on how much money you want to spend and how much work
you want to do. The pigtail you show is $11.50 and the connector I
mentioned is $1.11 and the tool can be had for $6.00. Popping the Weather
Pack terminals out of the old connector is much easier than cutting and splicing
in a pigtail assembly; especially if you are going to solder the connections.

Also, if you are getting the connector assembly from GM
or ACDelco, the pigtail wires are usually NOT color coded.

It boils down to what you feel comfortable with.

Good Luck!
