My 207,000 mile '94 runs 20 at idle, and ~40 when cold. I use 5/30 that I get from work, for free.
On a side note, we had a 95 or 96 traded in a few years ago, that had ~0 pressure at idle. It never went above 20 if I remember right. Funny thing is, not a lot of noise at idle. We sent it to Chevy top replace the sender, since it was so quiet, we thought it was bad. They put a sender on it, then a mechanical gauge, and verified it was idling at ~2-3 psi.
