A/F ratio Gauge

I'm puttin in a new engine soon. Been lookin at a few gauges to get for a while now and an a/f gauge came up as a possibilty. I am aware of the small range of reading it has, though it does simply indicate what side of stoich. i am at. If that justifies the purchase then so be it, thats why i am asking this question.

Should i bother with buying it/them? why?

I have my own few gauges i am lookin to get right now, but i might as well ask- what other gauges should i get along with the new 383 i am getting?

thanks for reading/replies

I would say all you really would "need" is an A/F Ratio and a Fuel Pressure. Perhaps a Vacuum gauge and oil temp gauge would be helpfull pieces of information. But yes from what I hear the A/F gauges aren't much help without wideband sensors.

On a side note, I see your from Washington Twp., ever make it to Island Dragway?

thanks for the input. I agree with the choices; i was probly going to go with a/f, fuel pressure, and oil temp or pressure (cant decide..) on a tri A-piller pod.

I mainly go to Acto. Haha i dont think i even know where Island dragway is, but i'll go!

anyone else/other ideas?
