Exhuast Clamp Will Not Hold.

One of the tips on my TOTL exhaust is loose. I tried tightening it as much as I could, but just sheared it off at the nut. I bought a new stainless steal clamp, and tightened it as much as I physically could, but still does not hold it tight. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can make it tight wihtout welding it?

Maybe try a different type of clamp? I assume you're using a U-clamp? You could try some clamps like this maybe?

I'm not sure if this will work or not, you may just end up having to weld it.

If you cut two notches in the end of the pipe that slips over the other one and clamp it, it will stay put. The notches should be 1/16-1/8 inch wide and about 1/2 inch long. Align the notches so that they are at a relative 9 and 3 o'clock and the top of the u is at 12 o'clock.
