Question exhaut and other bolt on options

I am in the process of adding a little more power to the z. The way I see it first thing needed to add power is increase air. In that case I'm doing a full exhaust headers into ORY muffler and tips. After that a cold air intake. Any suggestions for this setup (on a budget) and any other bolt ons that will add power? Dyno tune? Stall? Programmer? And let's not forget its a '93

A stall and some 3.73 gears would really wake it up. After doing that then a tune would be good for you and a programmer is a waste of money. Some suspension work to help you put the power down will also help you out like SFCs and LCA relocation brackets

Hey aggieguy13...what would you sell them for? Also...I'm guessing that in your sig, that should read "B&M" shifter...unless there's something new out there that I don't know about. Let me know on the gears...price, make, and anything else...if you want to unload them. My 2.73's suck!

It won't effect it at that much you will lose some MPG but nothing ridiculous. All this will do is make you cruise around at a higher rpm. As for the stall it all depends on what size of a stall you get

Re: exhaut and other bolt on options

I always stuck 4.10's in my autos and a moderate stall like 3-3500
Knowing that the 10 bolt is your weakest link
3.73 would be great and a 2800 to 3200 that could
Be reflashed later when you are ready for it would
Be the best option
Headers and a nice flowing exhaust would clean up the
Engine bay some and plug/wire change would be simpler
And suspension upgrades are always a plus when
Performance comes to mind rather than a 400hp beast
That is scary to drive and doesn't hook
