Then you need a better muffler.

 

I know the muffler is crap, but its not loud on the highway, so it stays, and i use a cutout when im going to race. I cant stand the drone of loud exhaust on the highway, ive ridden in a couple mustangs, drives me up a wall. So ill keep my crapmaster on there
EDIT- by the way, the times in my sig were w/o the cutout, car is on a mail order tune also, so its not doing TOO bad on the flowmaster.

I thought about a single exit muffler like that, but I just cant bear with having V8 muscle and one tail pipe. None or two. I know it sounds stupid, but I just think 4th gens need both or none to look good to me.

Well that about settles it though I think. I will be getting a Aerochamber when I do the HC this winter, or maybe a used Borla. I like the idea of having the open plates to run. If I can find one, at a reasonable price ( Yea right) I will for sure buy it. Otherwise, I will be going with the Hooker. Inless I find a nice single muffler I can dump right underneath with no tail pipes stickin out. Then it wont look so V6-ish.

That is a LOT of work to get it up IN the car so it won't hit every beer can on the street.
Bought the merge and the bends came from an 18 wheeler warehouse and just kept fittin' till it worked. Some of the angles I had to cut-- well-- gave me a headache and took a lot of time. At 25/30 dollars a pop ya don't want to ruin too many bends.

 

Hah I can only imagine the fun in that project. It came out awesome though.

My son FastFatBoy has done a few,but I rather wait till all the nut cutting is done and then I will know what it will do. Going for as close to 700FWHP on pump gas as I can,then maybe a 3/400 shot.
