Re: exhaust too loud

Dynomax. If loudness is a problem, use Dynomax cat back system. The E cutout is closed right? I hate neighbors....so much. Let's call the cops because someones car is too loud...lame. Kinda off topic, but I parked my car in my gf's garage to check for spark plug arching at night and her neighbors called her parents. Ridiculous. Dynomax is a good flowing "from what I hear" quiet exhaust system. Even if your neighbors didn't call the cops, I know people that have had that happen. It's not that bad to have a loud car. Funny thing is, people have motorcycles that come around at 2AM reving and **** and no one does anything. It's really not a loud combo.

Re: exhaust too loud

I would say try the Magnaflow system. I am running it and you can't even tell I have headers unless I nail the throttle.

Re: exhaust too loud

^^ I agree...

My neighbors complain to my mom that my car is loud and that their 3 year old twins are sleeping. It's not like I rev it at night anyways. I pretty much told them to kiss me ***, there is nothing wrong with my car.

Another quiet system is the Random Tech cat back system.

Re: exhaust too loud

I disagree...I have a long tubes, off-road Y, and a magnaflow. It's NOT quiet.

Re: exhaust too loud

^^ You're nailing it aren't you? He said it's quiet until he nails it. That does sound pretty wicked though

Re: exhaust too loud

are the cops making you make it quieter? or are they just PIA neighbors, screw ur neighbors if u want to keep it loud do it but dont change it because someone else doesnt like it. only change it unless YOU REALLY want to or the cops make you otherwise keep it like it is

Re: exhaust too loud

Yeah I'm nailing it... But even off idle it's pretty loud...then it gets into this smooth mellow spot at cruise where you can't hardly hear it...then it starts screaming again...I need to get my valves readjusted so I can make sure for sure...

Re: exhaust too loud

Try JetHot LT's ORY and Loudmouth, that was so damn loud when i had it. I put on a flowmaster 80 series and it is loud but nothing obnoxious like it used to be. Has a nice tone to it.

Re: exhaust too loud

The quietest catback is the Dual/Dual made by SLP. But if I had to quiet my car down Id just add a couple of cats in the y-pipe.

There's silencers available for some odugh at summit. they go in the collectors of your headers.
