Exhaust smell in car..entry points?

I fixed my biggest exhaust leak this past weekend:

a crack in my header. I still get a small leak where my y-pipe couples to my header but its not very bad and doesn't make any noise).. I know its ideal not to have any leaks, but even still.... the leak should not be able to make into the car.

I'm curious what areas in the engine bay/firewall I should be checking for leaks into the cabin? Right now I'm eying where the heater core hoses enter the firewall... any tips would be appreciated, thank you.

I'd repair the leak rather than look for a way to block it out of the passenger compartment. A leak before the O2 sensor will really screw up the engine's A/F ratio.

Might want to check the floor for rust holes.

The only leak I have right now is where the Y-pipe couples to the header, I'm using a hard, re-usable "dough nut" gasket, I may be able to go to the soft ones that crush.. and are not reusable.. to get rid of the leak. Its not fair that there are ppl who dump their exhaust under the passenger seat and have no problems with exhaust getting in the car, and I have this tiny leak and have issues... I know.. life isn't fair.. The 02 bung is before the leak, btw.
