is there much horsepower gains from gutting the cats, does it sound good, also i'm gonna get a flowmaster muffler not catback will this still improve my horsepower over stock thanks

 

Flowmaster muffler is questionable..Some like the sound but IMO, i'd save for a catback. But i can sell you one if you really want it that bad for a good price, but i dont care for flowmaster at all.

I have an ORP, instead of gutting the cat and its much better in my mind, but gutting the car is cheaper. Yea its louder and you'll feel/see some gains...

I LOVE the sound of my ORP. Do u have emmisions? If u gut the cat, you wont pass. The muffler itself wont give u hardly any gains worthwhile, compared to a catback at least..JMO

 

On a mostly stock car you'll probably see 5 rwhp or so from gutting the cats.
