Hey everyone, I currently still have my stock cat on my car and was wanting to go ahead and remove it and place something like a Bullet or Resanator muffler on the end of the 'Y' pipe and run tubing back to my axle and and just dump it there. Has anyone tried this? How loud and Deep is the exhaust tone? Any gains or losses from this setup?

 

definatly should feel a gain. and the noise will probably be pretty bad for daily driving.

i know a guy from florida had a setup similar but had a Flowmaster 80 series (maybe 40) on the pipe and said it was pretty bad from iinside the car.

you're probably better off just saving up the cash for a good cat back.
